The P312 disposable panel filter with synthetic media is ideally suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial HVAC applications, including those where high quantities of dust and lint are present in the air. The filter media is made from polyester fibers bonded together in an interlocking pattern of tiny lint and dust traps. This configuration maximizes dust loading, while minimizing resistance to air flow. The filter uses unique monobond pinch frame technology, which features a one-piece frame sealed to the media under pressure and heat. This ensures a continuous bond of media to the board around the periphery of the frame, eliminating weak corners and air bypass. The integrity of the seal is maintained by using a high tensile strength polyethylene binder, which enables the filter to withstand varying humidity and temperature levels. The frame of the P312 is produced using post-consumer materials.
